Change Menu Now Playing
Now Playing screen now offers a better interface. Touches on the layer will bring up additional options, including the info button, extra keys, shuffle and repeat. Also raises the info button links to articles about the artist singer song being played. Changing any song can now be done by shifting the album art to the left or right. Home Screen has changed
There are two additional buttons on the Home Screen are: "Free Music" & "Search". Free Music is the link to stream and download songs for free.
Lock-Screen Display
Display lock made to resemble the Now Playing screen. At first glance, you will not see the difference.
Integration with "Listen To" Voice Action
Winamp for Android 1.0 can be accessed using Listen To Voice Action, both from the title song or artist name.
SHOUTcast
SHOUTcast may be a feature that has been long awaited. SHOUTcast Radio Directory is available for Android 2.2 Froyo up (except for some that are not compatible devices such as Motorola DroidX). In the future, will make SHOUTcast Winamp can be accessed through all the Android-based devices.
Additional language support
Winamp supports more languages now. Noted there are 12 languages that can be used are: Home, Dutch, Germany, French, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Romanian, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. The next release will add more languages anymore. Indonesia May included.
