A 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen and kickstand, coupled with a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 1GB RAM, makes the Photon perfect for multimedia playback. There's also 16GB onboard memory for multimedia storage, and an external microSD memory slot supports up to 32GB cards.

Additionally, the smartphone sports two cameras; an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and a front-facing VGA camera for video chatting. Sprint and Motorola will offer a range of accessories for the Photon 4G (similar to the ATRIX 4G), including an HD Station, Wireless Keyboard ($70) and Vehicle Navigation Dock ($60).

The HD Station includes a Wireless Remote and HDMI cable, and when docked, the Photon provides instant access to a full version of the desktop-grade Firefox Web browser with tabbed browsing capability.
