Acer ICONIA Tab W500 Windows 7 Tablet PC

After seeing the ICONIA SMART smartphone, ICONIA Tab A100 7-inch tablet and ICONIA Tab A500, here is another member of Acer’s ICONIA family, the ICONIA Tab W500. Unlike other Android-powered family members, the W500 is a slate-style tablet PC running Windows 7. Like Asus’ Eee Pad Transformer, this Windows 7 ICONIA can be used with the optional docking station with full QWERTY keyboard.

The Tab W500 is powered by AMD 1GHz C-50 processor, AMD Radeon HD6250 graphics chip, 2GB of memory and 32GB storage. The tablet PC comes with a 10.1-inch multitouch display, a 1.3 Megapixel Crystal Eye webcam and Dolby-optimized audio. It supports Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and HDMI output.

Acer will launch the ICONIA Tab W500 Windows 7 slate PC in Europe for GBP449 or GBP520 with keyboard docking station.
